Lunch at ziziki’s Restaurant- Review
I have always had a fondness for Greek food. Having visited Greece for 10 days while I studied in Rome, I was able to explore local cuisine favorites. It has a time of culinary discovery for me. I was instantly enchanted. This love of culinary discoveries has been with me ever since.
I started a new job a month ago in North Dallas and decided it was time to have lunch at Ziziki’s nearby. Ziziki’s is located at Preston Rd. and Forest Ln in Preston Hollow and is a bistro style restaurant serving Greek and Italian cuisine.
I ventured into the restaurant and found they had a quaint indoor patio. I was instantly greeted by the hostess who let me choose my table. It was a warm day and the indoor patio was excellent. I was removed enough from the whole dining area where I was able to enjoy time to myself. The waitress herself was pleasant and outgoing. She was attentive in helping choose a dish and quick to refill my water.
I ordered the signature Greek salad with feta cheese and Kalamata olives. It was only a prelude of what was to come. I was so impressed with the lamb souvlaki. The lamb was succulent and complimented by their signature sauce and roasted potatoes. My mouth still waters as I write this review.
Ziziki’s is moderately priced but in this case one does receive the service and meal one pays for. The portions are large and their is a full bar as well. I highly recommend Ziziki’s if you are looking for Greek cuisine or is it Geek cuisine?
